Listing the Houthi group as a terrorist organization is a positive step that contributes to ending the war and ending the suffering of civilians, and it must be supported by the international community and all human rights supporters.
The SIG welcomes the decision taken by the US State Department to classify the Houthi group as a terrorist organization.
The Southern Group affirms that this classification is a positive step in the right direction that came to support the victims of human rights violations and crimes caused by that terrorist group over the past years . Where, the last targeting was in Aden International Airport which killed 25 people 3 of them were crews of the International Red Cross, a photojournalist for the # Belqis channel, and 110 injured civilians and airport workers.
During previous years, the Houthi group continued to target civilian institutions, using religious mobilization as one of the means of conflict, raising slogans of death and curse, to implement a large number of violations and to plunge Yemen into an endless cycle of conflict.
The group was not satisfied with the violations inside Yemen, it exceeded by targeting neighboring countries, as targeted # Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with missiles and drones that affected civilian and economic facilities, which led to the expansion of the war into a comprehensive war.
The Southern Group calls on the international community with all its bodies and institutions, and the world countries governments to reliance this classification of the Houthi group as a criminal terrorist group and penalizing its members and supporters wherever they are.
The group also affirms that this classification should not stop at the Houthi group, but rather extend to include all of its financiers and supporters in Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah.
The group stresses that leniency with terrorist groups under the justification of obstructing the humanitarian relief or the peace process is just a fallacies that will prolong the war and the suffering of civilians in the areas under the authority of the Houthi militia.

إدراج جماعة #الحوثي كمنظمة إرهابية خطوة إيجابية تسهم في انهاء الحرب وإنهاء معاناة المدنيين ويجب دعمها من قبل المجتمع الدولي وكل داعمي حقوق الانسان

ترحب #المجموعة_الجنوبية_المستقلة بالقرار الذي اتخذته وزارة "الخارجية الأميركية" بتصنّيف جماعة الحوثي كمنظمة إرهابية.
تؤكد المجموعة الجنوبية ان هذا التصنيف خطوة إيجابية في الاتجاه الصحيح جاء لنصرة ضحايا انتهاكات حقوق الانسان والجرائم التي تسببت بها تلك الجماعة الإرهابية على مدار السنوات السابقة حيث كان اخرها استهداف مطار #عدن والذي راح ضحيته 25 #شهيد 3 منهم من طواقم #الصليب_الاحمر_الدولي ومصور صحفي لقناة #بلقيس و110 مصاب من المدنيين والعاملين بالمطار.
استمرت جماعة الحوثي خلال السنوات السابقة باستهداف المؤسسات المدنية مستخدمة التحشيد الديني وسيلة من وسائل الصراع رافعة شعارات الموت واللعنة لتنفيذ عدد كبير من الانتهاكات وإدخال اليمن في دوامة صراع لا تنتهي.
ولم تكتف الجماعة بالانتهاكات داخل اليمن فقد تعدتها باستهداف الدول المجاورة حيث استهدفت #المملكة_العربية_السعودية بصواريخ والطائرات المسيرة طالت المرافق المدنية والاقتصادية مما ادى لتوسيع نطاق الحرب لتصبح حرب شاملة .
تدعو المجموعة الجنوبية المجتمع الدولي بكافة هيئاته ومؤسساته، وحكومات دول العالم لاعتماد هذا التنصيف لجماعة الحوثي كجماعة إرهابية إجرامية ومحاسبة اعضائها وداعميها اينما كانوا.
كما تؤكد المجموعة ان هذا التصنيف يجب ان لا يتوقف عند جماعة الحوثي بل يمتد ليشمل كل من مموليها وداعميها في #ايران و #حزب_الله اللبناني
وتؤكد المجموعة ان التساهل مع الجماعات الارهابية تحت مبرر عرقلة الإغاثة الانسانية او عملية السلام ماهي الا مغالطات ستطيل من عمر الحرب ومعاناة المدنيين في المناطق الخاضعة لسلطة المليشيات الحوثية
