The Independent Southern Group (SIG) held an important meeting with Mr. Mohamed Nsour, Director of the Middle East and North Africa file at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on Wednesday 18 September 2019 at its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

During the meeting, representatives of the Southern Independent Group briefed the Office of the High Commissioner on the latest developments in Yemen in general and the South in particular. In their speech, they talked about the service situation in the liberated areas and the failure of the Yemeni government to provide the most basic elements of life to citizens, in an attempt to subjugate the southern people who refuse those.
