The Southern Independent Group condemns the arrest of the journalist and activist Radwan Al-Hashidi from Sayyun Airport in Hadhramaut Governorate, where he was arrested by the security forces of the legitimate government and continued to detain him illegally.
According to the sources of the "Southern Independent Group", which confirms that the National Security forcibly transported the hidden journalist Radwan al-Hashidi from Hadramaut Governorate to Marib Governorate on July 10 and the agency continues to detain and forcibly hiding him without knowing his place of detention or allowing him to contact the outside world or know the charge against him or even contact his family.
And given that , these actions violate local and international laws, the Independent Southern Group for the Defense of Human Rights demands the official authorities in Marib to reveal the whereabouts of the Al-Hashemi journalist immediately, and to release him or refer him to the court, and we affirm in the southern group our intention to raise these violations to the competent authorities locally and internationally, And hold the perpetrators of these violations to account.

بيان صادر عن المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة
تدين المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة اعتقال الصحفي والناشط رضوان الحاشدي من مطار سيئون بمحافظة حضرموت ، حيث تم اعتقاله من قبل الاجهزة الأمنية التابعة للحكومة الشرعية وواصلت هذه الأجهزة احتجازه بصورة غير قانونية.
وبحسب مصادر "المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة " التي تؤكد إن جهاز الأمن القومي نقل الصحفي المخفي قسرا رضوان الحاشدي من محافظة حضرموت إلى محافظة مأرب بتاريخ 10 يوليو ويواصل الجهاز احتجازه وإخفاءه قسريا دون معرفة مكان إعتقاله او السماح له بالاتصال بالعالم الخارجي أو معرفة التهمة الموجهة إليه ومقابلة محام أو حتى الاتصال بذويه.
ونظرا لأن هذه الأفعال مخالفة للقوانين المحلية والدولية فإن المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة للدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان تطالب الجهات الرسمية في مأرب الكشف عن مكان احتجاز الصحفي الحاشدي فوراً، والإفراج عنه او إحالته إلى المحكمة، ونؤكد في المجموعة الجنوبية عزمنا على رفع هذة الإنتهاكات للجهات المختصة محليا ودوليا، ومحاسبة مرتكبي هذه الانتهاكات.
