The representative of the Southern Independent Group, Mr. Nasr Al-Esai, gave an important speech at the plenary session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, in the presence of all the delegations of the countries of the world today, Tuesday, October 4, 2022 AD, where he informed the Council that there are racist and discriminatory acts practiced in the Republic of Yemen, directly and some of them indirectly .
Calling on the Council to condemn this discriminatory intolerant trend, in order to preserve the stability and security of society on the Yemeni side.

Our organization would like to draw your attention to the fact that at a time when the world is unanimously opposed to racism, discrimination and intolerance, according to the Durban Program of Action, we see that there are racist and discriminatory acts practiced in the Republic of Yemen, directly and some of them indirectly.
The former Sana'a regime discriminated against southern citizens, and dealt with them in the public office and in some rights and duties on the basis of regional discrimination. What is worse is that with the arrival of the Houthi forces and their usurpation of power by force, trends have emerged that involve discriminatory actions, based on religious and sectarian doctrine.
Nowadays, this discrimination was not limited to the people of the south only, but also included the people of other Yemeni regions, especially the governorates of Taiz, Marib, Ibb and Hodeidah.
The Houthi authorities see in themselves integrity, the mandate and the authority granted to them from heaven, and they have the divine right to acquire one-fifth of any private or public product.
Mr. President, our organization sees this discrimination as a violation of the principles of justice and equality, especially since it is based on religious, sectarian and regional bases.
This situation will certainly lead to the disruption of the social fabric and create a situation of hateful sectarian and regional divisions.
Our organization calls on your esteemed council to condemn this discriminatory intolerant trend, in order to preserve the stability and security of society in Yemen.

قدم ممثل المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة الاستاذ نصر العيسائي كلمة هامة في الجلسة العامة لمجلس الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الانسان في جنيف وبحضور كل وفود دول العالم اليوم الثلاثاء ٤ اكتوبر ٢٠٢٢م ، حيث ابلغ المجلس بان هنالك اعمال عنصرية وتمييزية تمارس في الجمهورية اليمنية، بصورة مباشرة والبعض منها غير مباشرة. مطالبا المجلس بإدانة هذا التوجه التمييزي المتعصب، حفاظا على استقرار وأمن المجتمع في جهة اليمن.

السيد الرئيس السادة الأعضاء ..
تود منظمتنا ان تلفت إنتباهكم الى انه في الوقت الذي أجمع فيه العالم على مناهضة العنصرية والتمييز والتعصب، وفقا لبرنامج عمل ديربان، نلمس بان هناك اعمال عنصرية وتمييزية تمارس في الجمهورية اليمنية، بصورة مباشرة والبعض منها غير مباشرة. فقد مارس نظام صنعاء السابق التمييز بحق المواطنين الجنوبيين، وتعامل معهم في الوظيفة العامة وفي بعض الحقوق والواجبات من منطلق التمييز المناطقي. والأسوء من ذلك انه بقدوم القوات الحوثيه واغتصابها للسلطة بالقوة، ظهرت اتجهات تنطوي على اعمال تمييزية، من منطلق المذهب الديني والطائفي.
وفي هذه الأونة لم يقتصر ذلك التمييز على أبناء الجنوب فقط، بل شمل ايضا أبناء مناطق يمنية أخرى، وعلى وجه الخصوص محافظات تعز ومارب وأب والحديدة.
ان السلطات الحوثية ترى في نفسها النزاهة وصاحبة الولاية والسلطة الممنوحة لها من السماء، ولها الحق الإلاهي في الاستحواذ على خمس اي منتوج خاص او عام.
السيد الرئيس .. ان منظمتنا ترى في ذلك التمييز انتهاك لمبادئ العدالة والمساواة، لاسيما انه يستند على اسس دينية وطائفية ومناطقية.
هذا الوضع بالتاكيد سيوادي الى خلخلة النسيج الاجتماعي وخلق حالة انقسامات طائفية ومناطقية بغيضة.
تدعو منظمتنا مجلسكم الموقر الى إدانة هذا التوجه التمييزي المتعصب، حفاظا على استقرار وأمن المجتمع في اليمن.
