The Independent Southern Group calls on the United Nations and international organizations to take humanitarian responsibility towards civilians in the southern Shabwa governorate, which is being subjected to indiscriminate shelling of homes and civilian buildings by extremist ideological militias affiliated with the Yemeni Islah party from Ma'rib and Al-Jawf.
on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, these extremist groups launched indiscriminate shelling against civilians, which affected residential areas in the Hoda land, in laqmosh, in the southern Shabwa governorate.
And the field monitoring sources confirmed that the house of Mohammed Mahdi Bin Shaddad was subjected to heavy shelling, in which two women and a child were injured.
Therefore, the Independent Southern Group appeals to the United Nations to stand firmly against these extremist ideological groups and to take the necessary measures against all parties of the conflict to protect civilians.
تدعو المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الدولية لتحمل المسئولية الإنسانية تجاه المدنيين بمحافظة شبوة الجنوبية التى تتعرض لعمليات قصف عشوائي للمنازل والمباني المدنية من قبل مليشيات أيديولوجية متطرفة تابعة لحزب الإصلاح اليمني القادمة من مأرب والجوف. اليوم الأربعاء ١ يناير ٢٠٢٠م قامت تلك الجماعات المتطرفة بعمليات قصف عشوائية ضد المدنيين ، والتي طالت المناطق السكنية في منطقة هدى بارض لقموش بمحافظة شبوة الجنوبية. وأكدت مصادر الرصد الميدانية تعرض منزل المواطن محمد مهدي بن شداد الى قصف عنيف اصيب على اثره امراتين وطفل. لذلك تناشد المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة الأمم المتحدة للوقوف بحزم ضد تلك الجماعات الإيديولوجية المتطرفة واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة ضد كل أطراف الصراع لحماية المدنيين.
