Southern Independent Group (SIG) blesses the #Riyadh agreement and affirms that the right of self-determination of the Southern people is a legal right that cannot be revoked by any agreement , and affirms that dialogue is the best way to resolve the disagreements .
SIG call on all parties to determine peace and prevailing as the language of dialogue to settled the disagreements , the group also hopes that the terms of the agreement will be implemented without delay by any party as the reflection of wars and corruption on citizens was disastrous.
The group also hoped that this agreement will be an entry point to obtain rights and stop all violations and indulge its effects on the citizens well.
As the group blesses this agreement, it also calls to punish all human rights violators in Aden and southern areas in August and its subsequent violations, collective punishment, arrests and killings of opponents in Shabwa, Abyan and other areas these are major crimes and those responsible must be brought to justice.
The group also calls on all parties to respect international laws and spare civilians from future wars, fighting and armed conflicts.
Whereas the agreement did not include a time plan for one of the most important points of the southern issue which is the right of self-determination for the South as we had hoped in the group, we affirm that the right of southerners to self-determination is a legal right can not be canceled by any agreement between any parties , We in the group will strive to achieve our goal whatever the political circumstances.
المجموعة الجنوبية المستقلة تبارك #اتفاق_الرياض وتؤكد أن حق تقرير المصير للشعب الجنوبي حق قانوني لايلغيه اي اتفاق.

تبارك المجموعة الجنوبية الإنفاق الذي تم في الرياض بين الفرقاء السياسيين وتؤكد ان الحوار هو السبيل الأمثل لحل الخلافات وتدعوا جميع الأطراف الجنوح للسلم وتغليب لغة الحوار لحل الخلافات، كما تأمل المجموعة ان يتم تطبيق بنود الاتفاق دون مواربة او مماطلة من اي طرف حيث ان انعكاس الحروب والفساد على المواطنين كان كارثيا ووخيما.
كما ترجوا المجموعة ان يكون هذا الاتفاق مدخلا لنيل الحقوق وإيقاف كافة الانتهاكات وينغمس أثره على المواطنين بالخير .
وإذ تبارك المجموعة هذا الاتفاق فأنها تدعوا أيضا لـ محاسبة كل منتهكي حقوق الانسان ف ماشهدته عدن والمناطق الجنوبية في شهر أغسطس وماتلاه من إنتهاكات وعقاب جماعي للشعب وإعتقالات وقتل لمعارضين في شبوة وأبين وغيرها من المناطق هي جرائم لاتسقط بالتقادم ويجب محاسبة مرتكبوها وتقديمهم للعدالة.
كما تدعوا المجموعة كافة الأطراف لإحترام القوانين الدولية وتجنيب المدنيين ويلات الحرب والقتال والنزاعات المسلحة مستقبلا.
وحيث إن الإتفاق لم يشمل خطة زمنية لأحد اهم محاور القضية الحنوبية وهو حق تقرير المصير للجنوب كما كنا نتأمل في المجموعة فإننا نؤكد ان حق الجنوبيين في تقرير مصيرهم حق قانوني لايلغيه اي اتفاق بين اي اطراف وأننا في المجموعة سنسعى بكل ما نستطيع لتحقيقه ايّن كانت الضروف السياسية.
